Wofford College has lost a legend, as Lee Hanning passed away on Thursday afternoon. He has been associated with Wofford athletics for a quarter of a century, primarily assisting the football team as the kicking coach, but touching the lives of every student-athlete with his deliveries of ice cream after big wins.
