Just got back from the Michigan-Ball St game & got a little nervous at the end. Michigan is kinda walking through their last couple games. They totally dominated Ball State statistically (350 yds rush), but gave them 9 pts (safety & INT TD return) in the first qtr and gave up 2 big pass plays, one for TD and one that set up one. When you get a team down, put them away. Ball gained momentum and confidece and their QB played really well in the second half.

A win is a win and that's what matters but Michigan better come out on fire next week against Indiana and get a good tune up before The Game.

Mario Manningham got in about ten plays but wasn't thrown to. Henne looked deep to him one time but didn't have time and had to scramble. Manningham looked good in warmups with his running and cutting and also during the game. He'll make some plays the next 2 weeks.

Ohio State & Florida also struggled, so I won't have to endure the OSU fans telling me how much Michigan sucks because I'll have some ammunition myself (I'm a Michigan fan in Ohio)

I wore my Michigan sweatshirt to the Griz game today & I heard from several people how bad Michigan must suck to barely beat Ball St. & that Ohio St. is going to destroy them.

I hear it every day here how Michigan doesn't have a chance. Their fans are the most arrogant around. They won't say much this week because if Illinois had an offense the first 3 qtrs, they probably would have won because their D totally shut down that "unstoppable" OSU in the second half to less than 60 yds total offense

Trust me, it will be a battle 11/18

Troy Smith had a very pedestrian day. Mike Hart had 25 carries for 154 yards & a TD. If he has a good game against Indiana & a Biakabatuka kind of game against the Bucks it could be an interesting Heisman ceremony. As always, Its Great To Be a Michigan Wolverine.

To be fair, Ohio State squeaked by Illinois today too, 17-10.

At least the "Biting Illini" made it interesting in the 2nd half!

Illinois is much improved - look for a winning season next year.

So's Indiana, but I don't see the Big Ten title shifting to an "I" state anytime soon.
