OXFORD — Ole Miss receiver Mike Wallace, who said the Rebels wanted to beat Northwestern State by 50 points earlier this week, didn't get exactly what he was looking for Saturday.

But shortly after the Rebels polished off a 27-7 win against Northwestern State in front of 47,712 in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, the sophomore sat in the Rebels' team meeting room, flashed a big grin and said the margin of victory really didn't matter.

"I know we should've had way more touchdowns," Wallace said. "We messed up a couple of times. We still could've had them by 50.

UM receiver Mike Wallace wanted a 50-point margin, but will take 20.

"But I'll take 20."
