That's not really going out on a limb. I don't think they will win but I wouldn't be totally shocked if Poly pulled it out. It's #2 vs. #5 (with one of the best defenses in the nation). It's not a #1 vs. #16 in the playoffs. I think the upset part of this game will be if one team is able to blow the other team out. That would be an upset.

I don't see a Cal Poly win as a true upset. Yes, they're ranked a little lower, but there isn't significant deviation between them. To me an upset is when on team is expected to roll over the other, or at least be considered a solid favorite and gets knocked off. The mere fact one team is considered politically better than another by some random voters does not an upset make...
