I thought I saw that somewhere and if it's true it should be very interesting.

I thought maybe I was wrong because no one was discussing this game. This could be GOTW.

I agree. This game lost some luster but it also proved to UCA fans who should be at the helm at QB IMO. UCA's QB Ryan Howard threw for 5 TDs against Montana State and owned the second half AT Montana State. Fans were getting tired of seeing wide open receivers NOT thrown to and the ones that were thrown to by Reed were OVERTHROWN.

I think UCA deserved to be dropped from the top 25 last week but I will say confusion at QB, even with a good running threat in Reed, just held this team back from their potential. That and I heard Howard had a pulled muscle that created the opening for Reed in the beginning.

I think you will see a vastly different UCA team this weekend on offense. This coach knows what adjustments he had to make and did it after halftime against Montana State. Howard is a very serviceable QB. Our defense on the other hand has to get better.

But this is a big game for the Bears..both of them I guess..but for the purple bears it may decide IF they get the wins needed to make the playoffs.

SELA and McNeese might have the conference battle for first..but the Bears should have enough to make the playoffs..

This may as well be a playoff play in game. Very big implications for both teams down the road.

UCA beat MoState last year AT MoState in a close one. Plus the purple Bears have only lost 2 games on the birthday turf.... So MY Bears in a close one.

You guys need to stop it. You're causing me to get my hopes up

Obviously none of us have any barring on the game but the fact that non-MSU fans can think it will happen.

It can't be fireworks...

We used to have those after touchdowns but there's a lorge population of vets here and apparently the noise upset them enough to protest with the AD to stop them. I understand but it sure brings some excitement for the fans. I'm guessing the object is a smoke machine? Maybe?

After a rough 2.5 quarters to open the season, Misery St. Bears appear to be a tough out for any team.

For a team that finished #2 in the MVFC (only) last season, you'd think there'd be some optimism among the MSU Bear fans.

IMHO, UCA Bear's point about this growing into a decent border battle rivalry should be considered by both camps.

Hope it's a good competitive game, but my MVFC lens see Misery St pulling out a solid win.

If I remember correctly, we're 5-2 in our last 7. Two completely different teams from those two seasons but as a program, we're on a mini-roll. Hell, we played 5 loses within a touchdown last season.

Wow, What an ending. Unreal.
A 53 yard FG by MO St. with no time on the clock to win by 2, 33-31.
