Presbyterian College stays at home this weekend to host the No. 12 Furman Paladins in a Saturday night clash at 7 p.m. PC christened its brand-new lights last Saturday against Bluefield, putting a school-record 69 points on the Rams in a 69-14 victory. Saturday's game marks Military Appreciation Night, allowing active military members and their families free admission with a valid military ID. PC will look for revenge against the Paladins, who edged the Blue Hose with a 21-20 win in Greenville last year thanks to a missed 23-yard field goal with 18 seconds left. The nationally-ranked Paladins have won the last 15 meetings against the Blue Hose and PC will aim for its first win since a 17-10 victory on September 15, 1979. Furman moved to 2-0 last week with a 25-20 road win over Mercer in their Southern Conference opener in Macon, Ga. The Paladins hold the No. 12 spot in both the FCS Coaches' Poll and The Sports Network poll.
