For the first time since the 2002 season four OVC teams (Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State and Tennessee State) are ranked in the Top 25 at the same time. On Monday Eastern Kentucky junior Stanley Absanon was named National Defensive Player of the Week after registering two interceptions in the Colonels win over FBS Miami (Ohio).
