Sacred Heart defeated a defending conference champion for the second week in a row, again holding its opponent under 250 yards of total offense in the process. NEC Defensive Player of the Week TaMaric Wilson was a key contributor to the stifling defensive effort in the Pioneers’ 27-14 triumph over Patriot League member Lafayette. Wilson made a team-high nine tackles and also picked off a pass.
