Despite an outstanding defensive effort, the Stony Brook football team fell to Bryant, 13-7, before a season-opening crowd of 10,252 at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium Thursday. Junior Jeremy Leggiero (Bohemia, N.Y.) and senior Christian Ricard (Spencer, Mass.) led the way defensively with 12 tackles apiece. Redshirt freshman Ousmane Camara (Bay Shore, N.Y.) recorded his first collegiate interception.
