SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference today named its Football Players of the Week for games played on October 28. Appalachian State’s Kevin Richardson was selected the Offensive Player of the Week while Appalachian State’s Corey Lynch and James Gonsoulin shared the Defensive Player of the Week honor. Elon’s Nolan Ward earned the Freshman of the Week award.

I was originally going to complain about a bad quote, but when I clicked on the link, I found the quote was correct. JAme Gonsoulin does not play for ASU (he plays for Wofford), but you wouldn't know that from the article text. His picture is labelled correctly, however.

yeah, I noticed that too, it sounds like he plays for App in the article
