North Dakota State, which won the last three NCAA Division I football titles in a row, was selected #2 in the 2014 preseason poll conducted by the staff of College Sporting News.
Eastern Washingon, the school that was the last to defeat the Bison in the postseason and the last champion prior to the three titles in a row by NDSU was rated #1.
