Well, they got the top 6 teams right, IMHO, but after that it gets a little dicey. PSU, UNI and San Diego are too high, Cal Poly and SDSU are probably too low. PSU must be getting a lot of love for their three I-A games....

If you look at who has played the most teams with winning percentages, it is Northeastern hands down. The opponents they have faced are a combined 40-14, whereas Towson has played opponents with a 24-27 record.

Northeastern has played a brutal schedule so far.

yeah after I posted I looked at the USA Today rankings these were derrived from. It is a power poll based on strength of schedule for all Divison I schools.
It was just surprising.

The ranking system I was using was just win/losses. It was taken from the NCAA website.

I do not in the least bit want to turn this into another San Diego thread, but how can a poll based in any way, shape, or form on SOS even attempt to include San Diego?... Not meant to be a bash at USD, I am just baffled... On any other criteria I would understand but SOS is the only thing (be it a VERY large thing) that is holding USD back

I see what you're saying. Northeastern is rankied high because although at 3-5 they have lost to top quality teams. But SD at 8-0 against weaker teams is ranked even higher. Those two things don't add up. I guess Yale holds more weight than I thought.
