ABILENE – Almost one week and a handful of practices into summer workouts in preparation for the 2014 season, Ken Collums is starting to get a read on his young team. The verdict? The Wildcats have much room to improve, but what appear to be outstanding recruiting classes in 2013 and 2014 have the program moving in the right direction as ACU begins its first season as a full-fledged member of the Southland Conference since 1972.
