Lol, you crack me up every time Mr. Chicken....

But yeah, I think the 3PM start, them embarassing us last year, and the pretty high profile of #5 vs #13, as well as it being their homecoming, made up for the 11k butts.

A crowd of 15,248, the third largest in Coughlin-Alumni Stadium history, cheered the Jackrabbits on to their fifth consecutive victory. SDSU improved to 5-3 overall and stayed undefeated in Great West Football Conference action at 2-0. UC Davis fell to 4-4 overall, 1-2 in the GWFC.

It might be useful to pointout that it was Family Weekend and they were expecting a crowd over 10,000 however the weather changed that significantly.

Apparently UR notoriously underreports. I heard the 4-5k JMU students was a fair estimate though.

The NCAA will give them a game in...say Nashville, against Tennesee where it will be 90% Vol fans or more but it will count as a WKU "home" game.

On years when we don't play MTSU at home which will easily be over sold.

So MTSU would be one game - and the other 4/5 home?

Unfortunately, more than that continued to tailgate during the game and never came in the stadium. I tailgate at every game for hours, but I've never failed to watch an entire game, though I do have to admit, some of them have been a bit fuzzy the next morning.

Rain + 60 mph wind + Columbia + TV Game (YES Network) = super low attendance.

The fact that the game was on TV kept me away and I'm sure kept many more away as well. Judging by the crowd on TV, I'd say there was 500 or so brave souls inside the cavernous Yale Bowl.....

I talked to a Columbia friend who attended and he estimated 2500. 2k on the Yale side 500 on the Lions side.

The TV cameras hardly showed the Yale side, which is probably why the Bowl seem emptier than it really was. There was hardly anyone on the Columbia side.....just their band (which isn't big to begin with) and a hundred or so CU fans.

I'd guess with the expanded stadium we'd get 22,000 for MTSU (we had over 19K for EKU last year). I would also say we'd get large crowds for other sun belt teams we have good rivalarys with like USA and ULL. Of course we both know North Texas is always decent in football. 15k for the year should be no problem.

66,000+ at the Magic City Classic, around 100,000+ if you add the folks outside the stadium.

Who's USA? Or did you make a typo and mean to type UAS as in Arkansas State? How do you have a good rivalry with those teams? Due to the other sports you play each other in? Since it's quite a distance geographically!

Yale-Columbia attendance at the Bowl was so embarrassingly low that they didn't announce it.

Based on the box scores in the Hartford Courant, Yale wasn't the only school in the Northeast that didn't report attendance for Saturday's games.

I don't care how low anybody's attendance was, the fact that anybody showed up in those conditions was amazing!!!

I'm interested to see how big the crowd is this Saturday at Goodman. This game doesn't quite have the luster from a record standpoint but is just as important as all the others. If it's a nice day and with it being family weekend i think 13k, but it would be nice for something a little higher. I wonder how many raider fans are going to come down.

Announce as a sell-out at 13,500 in Bozeman, but only about 10,000 in the stands on a beautiful 55 degree day in the Gallatin Valley. I don't get it.
