OVC OOC 2014

2013 saw the OVC schools go out of conference and pull off big wins- 2014 may be a little more difficult:
Most Manageable: Tennessee State (Edward Waters, Jackson State, Alabama State, FAMU) 4-0 very realistic; 3-1; 2-2 at worst, if Tigers can't win at Alabama State
Most Difficult: 7 of the 9 OVC teams have one or two almost automatic wins; EIU does not: (Minnesota, Southern Illinois, Illinois State, Ohio) 2-2 would be nice, 1-3, 0-4 not impossible
The 2 Win Club (Should win 2 and lose the money games barring upsets)
Eastern Kentucky (Robert Morris, Morehead State, Miami (OH), Florida)
Murray State (Union, Western Michigan, Louisville, Kentucky Wesleyan)
Jacksonville State (Michigan State, Chattanooga, West Alabama)
Tennessee Tech (Kentucky Christian, Indiana St., Northern Iowa, Chattanooga) *seriously Kentucky Christian?
The 1 Win Club
Southeast Missouri (Missouri Baptist, Southern Illinois, Kansas, Southeastern Louisiana)
Tennessee-Martin (Kentucky, Central Arkansas, Mississippi State, Cumberland) *UTM would like to thank the SEC for supporting the construction of the new stadium
Then there is the usual question; Can Austin Peay go 0-12 again; I think there is an upset coming, but it will not be out of conference:
Austin Peay (Memphis, Chattanooga, Illinois State, Mercer)

Games that could be tougher than you think: TSU v. FAMU; TSU v. Alabama State; Jax State v. West Alabama; Tech v. Indiana State; Jax State v. Chatty

So I take a huge underdog and you take a huge favorite but the bet is the same? I would rather bet in Vegas.

First 8 plays for Michigan State have resulted in 176 yards and 2 tds.

Michigan State had thrown 4 passes for 150 yards.

No one in the FCS is keeping up with a top 15 team except all time great FCS teams. JSU had no chance.

UNI took eventual Orange Bowl Champion Iowa to needing to blocked FGs to save a win

UNI took eventual Big 10, and Rose Bowl, champion Wisconsin to a 5 point game that came down to UNI failing on a 4th and short inside Wisky territory with less than 4 minutes to go in the game.

Neither the 09 or 2012 UNI teams made the playoffs.

I will probably hate myself for asking that somewhere down the pike, but dag, there was all this "our band's better than your band" (MSU 's) talk all over the JSU fan forum this week....so just curious how that worked out?

I didn't watch the game. Friday nights are for high school football. Sounds like we got our asses handed to us.

I dont know much about bands but JSU folks are proud of our band.
