We are running the ball well right now on our first drive. That is going to be key if we want to win today.

Also good to hear that Kays is back in the game. We can't afford to lose him.

THANK GOD THAT WAS NOT A FUMBLE.

Huge change almost fumble, actually was fumbled, and SDSU had recovered and run for a TD.

Officials instead call it 1st and goal at 1 for UCD

AggiePride

When in the lead and passing well, UCD can deceptively seem balanced (stat wise) when players are removed from the box, I think our passing game has made the difference on big downs. I think SDSU has a good run defense.

AggiePride

You can hear the wind on the radio broadcast but it's not as much of a factor as last year. Maybe that's a reason why SD is one of the few states losing population - it blows all the time.

I felt the same way last week, but you got to give it to the Jacks after coming from behind against both Poly and Davis. I think they had something to do with the way both teams collapsed the last two weeks. They never quit in either game and they did not quit when they started the season 0-3. Now they are sitting at the top of the GWFC at 2-0 and 5-3 on the season. Here come the Jacks into their first appearance in the top 25. Congrats.

I think we asked SDSU what kind of wrapping paper they wanted. Cause we gave that game away. Unreal. Our defense was on the field way too much. Also, what the hell was Biggs calling out there? Yeah Nolan had a great game, LAST WEEK. Change up the game plan, throw the ball downfield!

I am sick to my stomach right now. Another game we should have won. How many more of these do we have to go through before we start to put teams away on a consistant basis?

Your defense on the field too much? Go to the stats and see the comparative time of possesion, particularly in the first half. The Aggie defense was well rested.

Give the Jacks a little credit, particularly the defense. Talk to the Aggie players: I'm confident they'll say the Jacks defense simply did not change its level of play throughout the game. So, while most other teams wear down a little as the game goes on, the Rabbits were hitting just as hard in the 4th quarter as they did in the 1st quarter. Those hits in the 1st quarter weren't getting the job done but in the 4th, those same hits against an offense that had been taking the hits, made some difference.

Look, the Aggies lost a great receiver when Kays was injured early. He returned but wasn't as effective as we all know he can be. No question that was a factor in the game. (Just like SDSU not having the full services of runningback Koenig.)

I was sitting in the stands and, for what it's worth (maybe not much), the Jackrabbit fans were all commenting that it doesn't start happening until the 4th quarter with this bunch. Davis didn't score in the 2nd half. SDSU started its stress test in the 4th quarter just like they did against Poly and McNeese.

Hopefully NDSU will be aware of any rope-a-dope tactics that the Jacks may try to use in the Fargodome!!

Congrats on a great win, rabbits. The GWFC is all yours for the taking. You control your own destiny. Good luck the rest of the way. Some will keep saying the Aggies blew the game, but I believe your "D" had a lot to do with it too. The only big mistake the Aggies made that I believe was not due to your "D" was a movement on 1st and goal on the rabbits 1 yard line. Other than that, you need to give all the credit to SDSU players for not giving up and grinding it out. It would have been easy for the rabbits to have quiit on the long Nolan pass and catch. but they did not. Keep it up!!!

No doubt that was the play of the game, helped out by the false start on the very next play. If that tackle wasn't made, I don't see us coming back. A hard hitting game on both sides. I also enjoyed your band-uh. Good luck the rest of the year and now go out and beat those Bison!
