DALLAS (AP) - Dallas Cowboys assistant coach Todd Haley is suing a suburban McDonald's, claiming his wife and the family's live-in baby sitter found a dead rat in a salad they took home and began to eat.

The lawsuit filed Thursday in state district court seeks $1.7 million in damages, The Dallas Morning News reported on its Web site.

In addition to Haley, the Cowboys' passing game coordinator who got in a well-publicized shouting match with receiver Terrell Owens earlier this month, the suit was also filed on behalf of his wife Christine and the family's au pair, Kathryn Kelley.

I don't know about this.

I don't wanna sound like a "Star" gazer, but in this case you have people that have no reason to sue anyone or bring this kind of attention to themselves..................THEY ALREADY RICH.

There could have been some nut working there that just wanted to F with them because she was his wife.
People spit in people's shat all the time in these places just to get some sort of sick thrill. That's why I NEVER get into an argument in a restaurant or fast food joint AND THEN EAT THERE. If a worker has an attitude, I say what need to be said and leave without ordering.
I used to work in one of these joint's my freshman year in college....................MoFo's can put some "creative" shat in you food that can't be detected. :eyebrow:
Like mixing snot in your mayo and then spreading it on your burger. :p

If they made this up, both need their arses kicked.

I think he was more referring to them asking for 1.7 million

Are those salads even big enough to put a 6 inch dead rat in? It's interesting they didn't find it until they got home.

Well, if they got it to go, they wouldn't have opened it until they got home to eat
