IMHO - Fede has the size and athleticism to make it in the NFL. 'Motor' is also very good. He's raw & green...and a little undisciplined...and, as with any other FCS player, will have to adjust to the consistent level of competition he will face, but "I'm saying there's a chance." :)

IMHO - Mills has the accuracy, quick release, decision-making skills, and athleticism to be successful in the CFL and, maybe, one day in the NFL. He doesn't have the 'measurables' that the NFL likes, but Drew Brees and Russell Wilson have broken that mold to some extent. If he can get on the field and prove himself, he might have a chance as well.

Granted, and in the interest of full disclosure, MHO's about these players are based on a small sample size of their work in college. I saw Fede live once and a complete game of Mills on USD's internet broadcast. Watched some additional video on both, but not complete games. Unlike a few other posters here, I don't generally form my opinions about the quality of a player or a team based on a few highlights and/or what I perceive to be the quality of their competition based upon what others have said or a few same-team score comparisons.

Reckon what SmallCollegeFBFan thinks about the chances of these young men in the Pros?

Fede has a good shot of making it. I gave him a very high PFA grade and saw him as a practice squad player as a rookie, with a slight shot at a 53 man (depending on the team).

Mills should make it in the CFL or at least I think he has a shot. I have not seen the CFL QBs lately so not sure how talented that team is at that spot.

By the way, Fede is the best prospect the Pioneer League had since Josh Johnson.
