The GPI states Massey ranks San Diego as #8, maybe someone should've asked Mr Massey first:
http://www.masseyratings.com/rate.php?lg=cf#Division%20I-AA

Now, allow me to list his rankings of all Non-DI-A schools first:

Montana
Northeast Omaha I'm not joking, ranked between Florida State and Minnesota
North Dakota
Northwest Missouri between Miami Fla and Air Force
Appalachian
Princeton
Illinois State
James Madison
Massachusetts
Grand Valley State yep, ahead of ND State, Northern Iowa, Youngstown and San Diego

his I-AA top 20:

Montana #44 overall
Appalachian
Princeton
Illinois St
James Madison
Massachusetts
North Dakota State
Portland State
Northern Iowa
Harvard
Youngstown State
Maine
Cal Poly SLO
New Hampshire
Montana St
Yale

Nope, not smack. Clicked on the link provided at the bottom of the GPI page, http://www.i-aa.org/article.asp?articleid=81685, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see it.

"Journalists" question things. I am questioning the legitimacy of the GPI, not being a cheerleader.

... "Journalists" question things. I am questioning the legitimacy of the GPI, not being a cheerleader.I didn't read one question from you so maybe if you have one you can ask. Journalists should also research their topics (like the difference between the separate Massey systems http://www.masseyratings.com/cf/compare1aa.htm ). Of course the top results of the GPI speak for themselves.
