The veteran of the Elon University football coaching staff, Phoenix assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Scott Browne enters his eighth season in 2014. Elon head coach Rich Skrosky had this to say about Browne:*"I am very pleased that Scott Browne has decided to remain on staff as we move ahead. Scott has been at Elon since the 2007 season.* He has been the recruiting coordinator since then and has also had a wide range of other responsibilities.* Scott will also coach our running backs.* Because of all the existing relationships Scott has had with several offices on campus he will be a great asset during this transitional period.* Scott will have a familiarity with the offensive system from our time together which will help as well.* Scott's players have always performed to their potential on and off the field."
