CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dr. Walter Lovett, who served as head football coach and Director of Athletics at Hampton University for several years in the 1970s and 80s, will be inducted into the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) John B. McLendon Jr. Hall of Fame on Friday.
