Eastern Washington has taken major steps to improve it's offensive line with the signing of one of the top Offensive Linemen in California (Class of 2015). Codi McGuire, a 6'3 275 pound Eastbay All American linemen will play Offensive Guard or Center for the Eagles and accepted their early offer despite being recruited nationally by larger programs. McGuire is extremely mobile and wins on contact, racking up over 100 pancake blocks in 2013. He is a 4 year varsity starter, starting his high school career at Arlington High in Riverside where he started on varsity as a freshmen before transferring to Kelseyville High school in Northern California.

Kelseyville High football stars are getting attention from college recruiters. Junior Codi McGuire, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound offensive lineman, has heard from Cal, UC Davis, University of San Diego, Princeton, Harvard, Dartmouth, San Jose State, Eastern Washington, New Mexico State, San Diego State, UTEP, Utah, Penn, Air Force, Army and Oregon. McGuire visited Cal last week and plans a visit to UC Davis. Eastern Washington reportedly is ready with a full athletic scholarship for McGuire as soon as the NCAA window to offer 2015 recruits opens.
