Cadet Tory Cooper SoCon Offensive POW

Junior Cadet Tory Cooper, running back, was named the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his 204 yard, 2 Touchdown performance Saturday against the Catamounts of Western Carolina. Cooper scored the game winning Touchdown on an 8 yard run in the first overtime period to lead the Cadets to a 30-27 victory. Cadet Cooper is the second Citadel Bulldog to be named POW this season joining his classmate QB Duran Lawson.

Tory Cooper is third in Socon in all-purpose yards (134.2/game) and 4th in rushing yards (84.9). Great move by Coach Higgins to move him from defense to the O. We get one more year of him too. I like how this Citadel team is shaping up for the future.
