What about Bobby Johnson? Is he going to survive at Vanderbilt?

I believe Vandy extended his contract for two addtional years which gets him through this year. The fans were screaming two years ago but Johnson survived which is good. Unfortunately a lot of Vandy fans don't realize how long it will take to get that program anywhere.
I am sure beating Tenn and Florida last year helped but it looks like another losing season in 2006.

My money's on Paul Johnson. Although, as a 22 year Navy vet, I'd HATE to see him go. He's been a godsend (thanks GSU!!!)

Around here a lot of people have been mentioning Steve Logan's name. I think the most interesting move would be Terry Bowden just for the family storyline in the ACC. But I don't seriously think they'd go after him. Bobby Johnson makes sense.

Yes - Johnson is safe for years at Vanderbilt. The coaching/recruiting job he has done at Vandy is nothing short of amazing. He has upgraded the talent level to SEC-quality.
Vandy goes to a bowl next year, IMHO.

I really hope that Paul Johnson stays at Navy. He has done great things there and has completely turned the program around. I would hope that he would want to stay at the Academy!

I guarantee you, if you have heard of the coach, he will not be the head coach at Carolina. Dick Baddour is not smart enough to hire a good football coach at North Carolina. They should have just gotten rid of both of them at the same time.
