A.J. Dalton, a member of the Robert Morris University football team for the past four seasons, signed a free agent contract with the Detroit Lions of the National Football League Saturday evening. Dalton made 37 starts in his four years for the Colonials on the offensive line, beginning his career at guard before shifting to left tackle for the majority of his tenure. Dalton was selected as an All-American by The Sports Network after his recently completed senior campaign, one of 11 Colonials in program history to earn that honor.
