Former Saint Francis University safety Jake DeMedal (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington), who completed his Red Flash career this past fall, has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent. DeMedal finished his career with 301 tackles, including 72 as a senior in 2013. He was named to his second consecutive NEC First Team this past season. He was a terror from the defensive backfield, finishing second on the team with those 72 tackles, five tackles for loss and a sack. He finished eighth in the conference in tackles.
