I heard this from someone today. Can anyone tell me if it's true and if he will be 100% for Furman this week?

Nothing official, but he may have a knee injury. He took a good whack on it in the middle of the game and was never the same running afterwards.

He did get hurt during the GSU game. Only ran like twice in the 4th quarter. He was limping throughout the 4th.

He played the rest of the game, so hopefully he isnt too bad off. He said his knee "popped," and he can still run straight, but is having problems making cuts.

I hate that…

Furman has gone through alot of injuries this season and I don't wish that on any team. I hope Edwards and Gray are both healthy for Saturday it would be awesome to see two Greenwood boys going at it, and cousins on top of that.

I hope it isn't anything too serious. Best wishes to him. It will be good to see him and Gray go head to head.

It sounded on the radio like Armanti was on the receiving end of multiple clobberin's Saturday, and that said clobberin's led to bad subsequent plays.

I'm equally curious about Felton's high ankle sprain. How's he looking for Saturday?

You know, if we held "play college football for a day" contests to fill out the rosters, and just put random people in ASU and Furman jerseys, it would probably still be a heart-wrenching squeaker of a game with a close-as-can-be outcome. That's just the way it works.

All speculation right now. But like I said earlier, you're going to need all the kings men to keep him out of this game. Murrell hasn't been run over nearly enough this season :)

There's a thread about the Felton injury under, "Furman fans...," but I can offer what I know. Friend of mine and myself talked to him on his way to the training room yesterday, and without going into too much detail(since I don't know what he would want told and b/c know one knows the injury specifics)...I'm pretty sure he'll be fine to play.

He got bent back in a pile up, and he said he thought he had really hurt something bad immediately after the play. Fortunately though, he didn't think there is any damage. It's probably a mild ankle sprain (that's all speculation based on what the trainers told him...don't know what it is for sure yet). Needless to say, he was pretty relieved it didn't seem to be anything more than some lingering ankle pain b/c it could have been a lot worse. As PaladinFan said at one point after the game, you could hear a collective "oh $h*t," from the FU fans in attendance when felton was down:).

I put this in the other thread, but I'll post it again. At the Coastal game when Gray sprained his ankle, the trainers put him in a boot and on crutches. After the game on saturday, Felton was walking around with only a small limp. Don't know for sure what the injury is, but I seriously doubt Jerome doesn't play. He might not be 100%, but I think he'll play. We should get Gray back, Goolsby played the second half Saturday, and I'm pretty sure Jerome will play. Injury bug has gotten us pretty good this year, but luckily only a few have been serious.

I hope Edwards is ok. Keep us updated on him, and we'll do the same. I doubt either side here's more than ankle/knee sprain for either guy though.

Jerry Moore was quoted as saying he thought it could be an MCL issue

Ouch, that's not good.

Felton's injury was updated today. Apparently it was just a really bad bruise above his ankle and not a sprain as originally thought. Good chance he'll be back to practice by Wednesday.

Taken from GoASU today:

"He is listed as day-to-day but expected to be at full-strength for Saturday’s SoCon showdown versus Furman."

I heard a knee specialist in the training room say it was a Partial MCL tear.
Could wear a brace and not be very mobile.
not good though:bang:

I heard from one of the players that it was a major injury that required surgery and despite that he was practicing without a limp and at full speed today.
