NDSU vs Iowa State- Eveything about this games screams NDSU...which is why I'm going Iowa State....for some dumb reason
Youngstown St vs Illinois - Illinois isn't good BUT YSU wasn't great last season and need to replace some offensive weapons that they showed would be hard last year - Hess.
SDSU vs Missouri - probably not close
SIU vs Purdue - See NDSU/Iowa State
MSU vs Oklahoma State - not even closeSD vs Oregon - not even close
UNI vs Iowa - by less than 5..which is far worse than 9-12 points
UNI vs Hawaii - UNI pulls the starters
WIU vs Wisconsin - not close
WIU vs Northwestern - probably respectable
ISU vs Indiana - no even close...it was a blow out when the Sycs had Bell.
ISU vs Ball State - respectable
I could see UNI/Iowa, NDSU/Iowa State, SIU/Purdue all happening as well though

Possible NDSU could lose. We still keep our system.. in my book we are slight favorites. I don't expect to blow them out however.

Like I said...everything screams NDSU about this game.
If I were to place a bet I'd go up to -12.5 on NDSU...I really would.
Iowa State is having players leave the team, get kicked off the team, new offensive system, had really poor recruiting classes, don't have a QB for the 5th season in a row...the find one that pulls of a magical drive at the end of the game and fall in love with him and then when he falls apart 2 weeks later they bench him and repeat the process over and over and over and over...seriously...new offensive system
EVERYTHING favors NDSU, even with having to replace what they do....I won't be shocked when they win...Which is why they will lose.

Of Liberty's two FBS matchups, I think they have a better chance of winning against App State. UNC will win, but they won't destroy Liberty like they did ODU

Tech lost its starting QB..they're down to 1 on the roster. They have problems stopping the run and are filling up their spots with transfers from c.c.s. They have a pretty good secondary though. Big question is can WE stop them even with their issues. 20+ more scholarship players hurts an FCS team everytime. I'm hoping for an upset too...but not likely..

Southland Conference v FBS
Abilene Christian at Georgia State
Abilene Christian at Troy
Central Arkansas at Texas Tech
Lamar at Texas A&M
Sam Houston at LSU
McNeese at Nebraska
Nicholls State at Air Force
Nicholls State at Arkansas
Northwestern State at Baylor
Southeastern La at Tulane
Stephen F Austin at Kansas State
SELA has the best shot at an upset. GA State has never had a winning season and is coming off an 0-12 record last year but ACU must replace virtually its entire offense. Nicholls looked improved at times last year and AF was down, but AF never loses to FCS teams at home and has a history of bouncing back from down years. Still, there is some hope in these these match ups.
NDSU upset K State last year. SFA is not North Dakota State. Texas Tech will return arguably its best QB from last year and has a hot shot freshman coming in. Lamar over TAMU? Um, no. The Ags won't need Johnny FB. Sam over LSU in Death Valley? It will be closer than Lamar v TAMU. Arkansas? Not even Bielema could mess this one up. Northwestern State v Baylor? Maybe a pre-Art Briles Bears team but not now. McNeese v Nebraska? Don't see it happening. ACU is still gearing up for FCS, and not quite ready for a middle of the pack team such as Troy, even one from the lowliest FBS conference.

The lone Ivy vs. FBS game for 2014:
Army at Yale
I'm not quite sure how it would turn out though. Yale is revamping its offense (new coaches in QB and WR as well as new OC promoted from within), and Army historically has been awful.
But I'd like to see the Bulldogs win here. It's the 100th year anniversary of the Yale Bowl.

I'd take UNI over Hawaii, then maybe UNI and NDSU over Iowa and Iowa State. When I first thought about the Iowa State-NDSU matchup, I thought Iowa State would probably win. Then I realized how bad Iowa State is.
All in all, I'll guess the MVFC has 2 FBS wins this season.

The Hokies look vulnerable this year if the Tribe can get a healthy, competent QB on the field. They lost a lot and have their own QB void to fill. I see a similar game to last year's matchup with West Virginia. Tribe has enough athleticism and depth to make this one interesting.

Gamecocks lose a ton of players off their 2013 team and Furman should be pretty stout. Both teams are coming off a bye week, but USC may likely be looking past Furman to Auburn.

The good news for you is that Georgia State has a bad offensive line and no running game. I would think you guys could contain them.
Plenty of mid-level SLC teams have taken down mid-level and lower-level SBC teams, so I think you've got a decent chance.

One friend called them the "most delusional fanbase in college sports." Clemson might be a close second.
I am quite sure most USC fans forgot about the beating Furman gave them in '82 and then the nearly 30 years afterward when they refused to play us despite being an hour and a half down the road.

SELA will have a very good team but I doubt they'll be the betting favored. There has to be a pretty wide disparity for a FCS team to be favored over a FBS foe. SELA simply didn't turn enough heads last year to be favored over a bowl team....

OVC FBS Schedule
EIU at Minnesota
EIU at Ohio
JSU at Michigan State (You'd have to be deluded to think otherwise)
UT Martin at Kentucky
UT Martin at Mississippi State
EKU at Miami (OH)
EKU at Florida
Murray State at Louisville
Murray State at Western Michigan
TTU at Houston
SEMO at Kansas
Austin Peay at Memphis
Really don't see the OVC doing much damage. Miami went 0-12 last year and while I admit I don't know how good EKU is supposed to be, it is probably the best chance at an upset.

Wyoming beats Montana U in a close one. Bohl goes 2-0 against the Griz after beating them as an NDSU coach in 2003 25-24.

If the thread is on the FCS Discussion board be sure not to engage in those sorts of debates with another trying to lure you in as after a warning pm on the matter the next time gets you off the FCS board for a lesson on the organization of the forums and what goes where.
