I am calling...(with a cough) bull****. I watched that game on TV...and even in the mammoth Yale Bowl (which I am very familiar with) there was no way in hell 22k fans were there. That means a 1/3 of the stadium was filled...and was most certainly not the case!
I think they announced total tickets sold, including seasons.
I kept looking at that bowl and wondering why Harvard, Penn, and Yale just dont pull a Stanford/Duke.
Just a thought, I know the reasons why, but I have to think that Harvard, Yale, and Penn would be able to recruit very well at the IA level and with the facilities they have.

You may be correct. Didn't look like many on CN8. It is a very tough place to guess attendance though. People have a tendency to really spread out.
P.S. I don't think Yale has enough season ticket holders for no shows to make that much of a difference.xlolx

Totally agree. I was at the game this afternoon, looked at the crowd and thought there was about 14,000 people inside the Bowl.
However, before the game, I was surprised to see a ton of people in the parking lot. If I were to guess, I'd say the missing 8,000 fans were either still tailgating in the parking lot or just didn't show up.

At the NU-UNH game the PA announcer said the crowd was 6,531, and a sellout. Something tells me that someone checked what the OC was with the Town of Brookline because the number was later revised downward to 6,135.
Easily one of the largest, if not the largest home crowds we've had.

Wow! That is quite a daunting sight. Very nice shot. Great attendance too obviously! I hope JMU will expand its stadium in the near future so we can get 20k to pack the stands.
