Hey I am not going to come on here and rant away.. UNI played a better game period...... I want to congratulate them. We had NO ANSWER ALL GAME LONG FOR THE UNI OFFENSE.

Finally in the 2nd half we began to hold them, but we just kept turning the ball over.

Zetts played like ****. PERIOD

And about the Touchdown Called back late in the 4th... I have no complaints about it.... No guarentee we'd get the 2 anyways.... I felt like we had lost it on the punt return fumble which set up a UNI TD.

Hey I am not going to come on here and rant away, I have nothing but praise for UNI.... Throw out all those streaks at YSU now too:

Averaging 40 yards game over the last 2 years: GONE.

UNI showed they were playing for their playoff lives and proved they can win. They will have some big tests ahead and will need to finish 3-1 in that span, and what I saw tonight, they will do it.

For Youngstown's sake: We can still make the playoffs, and maybe get a home spot for at least the 1st round.. No first round seed here anymore...

Just got home from the game, and here are a few observations...

Each team did their fair share of trying to give each other the game. YSU had 4 INT and a crucial fumble on the punt late in the game. UNI had some fumbles that led to some YSU points. But, UNI had less mistakes, and that would be why they deserved to win this game.

After one of Zetts' interception, UNI's #3 ran off to the sideline, chucked his helmet like 10 yards down the sideline, and showed a complete lack of class by talking ***** to the crowd. But then I would have to say our crowd on the small side didn't show any class either because after the last Zetts interception some of the YSU fans proceeded to throw their mini-footballs that the cheerleaders threw them at the UNI team after a lot of the Panthers started spouting off to the fans.

Anyhow, we just flat out got outplayed. After all of the turnovers, the YSU defense was on the field way. Too. Long. Stopping the UNI QB and the big RB a few times was a victory in of and itself, but having to do it seemingly a minute later after a crucial turnover is a task too tough to handle.

That being said, be gracious in defeat and humble in victory. The road doesn't get any easier for the Penguins, when they face Illinois State in Normal next Saturday.

Watching the replay on TV, it sure didn't look like over 19k there

Was this before or after Dre Dokes' interception inspired a Penguins player to knock Chris Parsons on his keister after the play was over? (He got caught, btw. For future reference, it would help to avoid doing that directly in front of the referee.)

Sorry, I didn't see that but I did know that a penalty was called on Irizarry because after the interception a flag was thrown, and I will assume that was it. I should have known the facts before I posted.

Not a big deal... other than that little incident where the YSU player lost his head, it seemed like there was a good game played (if you call 8 turnovers a good game...).

Winning this game was HUGE for UNI. We're in great position now with three of our last four at home.

The student section emptied pretty quick after the last INT. I was 4 seats away and didn't see anything being thrown, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Yeah it happened near the student section...actually it was section 16 to be exact. There was a lot of taunting both from players and fans. In particular a kicking T was thrown at someone and a UNI fan was given a small plastic football which he spiked and hit somone with. There were also balls thrown at the UNI players...I left shortly afterwards, but a friend of mine who stayed said players came up to the wall and more bs ensued. Nothing major happened outside of that.
