ILS hosts a now 2 loss YSU team next weekend on Family Day, another HUGE crowd expected

ILS and UNI now alone atop the Gateway at 3-0

FINALLY!!!!.... a win over WIU...YES!!! Was at the game today to see ISU get down early, and then come back and completely dominate WIU the final 3 quarters. The Birds O-line took control. Leatherneck QB Steve La Falce looked good early on, but then the Birds really started pressuring him. ISU just shut down WIU's running game. The game was sweet revenge and a important (and very convincing) road win over a quality opponent.

ISU is looking good right now at 3-0 in the Gateway. The GFC was thrown a couple suprises today...SIU's upset home loss to WKU and YSU's home loss to UNI. Things are definitely getting interesting. The Pengun home loss could hurt alot because now they travel to Normal to take on a red-hot ISU team that still remember's last season's give-away game at YSU...argh!
