Tucker is a great kid and a class act and should get a fair shot at playing at the next level.

Brown is just a junior, but from what I've been hearing, could be a high draft choice after his senior year. He is having a great year and has probably been the best offensive lineman in the SoCon this season.

Here is what one recent article by John Murphy of Yahoo Sports said about Brown:

• Appalachian State offensive guard Kerry Brown has caught the eye of several area evaluators the past two years, thanks to his impressive combination of size (6-6, 303), strength (near 500-pound bench press) and athleticism (4.9 in the 40). The junior was a critical part of an offensive line that helped lead the Mountaineers to the Division I-AA national championship a year ago and a near upset of North Carolina State earlier this season, a game in which he collected nine knockdowns.

Brown's work ethic and dedication to preparing himself for a chance to play in the NFL cannot be questioned as he seems to have good focus and attention to detail. He needs to learn how to use his strength to become more of a finisher and maybe even develop a little more of a nasty streak on the field. At times, Brown comes off the ball high and will lose a defender by letting him slip off first contact, but with better technique and use of his hands, he could become a Kendall Simmons type of prospect.

This is the link to the complete article, which mentions several other I-AA players:

Tucker's brother, who was a great defensive lineman at UNH, posts on AGS frequently. I wonder what he would have to say about Tucker's chances?

Cody Morris has been doing a great job as a center at William & Mary this fall. That versatility certainly can't hurt his chances at the next level.

I think that Tucker has a really good shot, you can't teach work ethic and he has one that rivals anyone in college football for sure. He is determined to play at the next level, and I think he would excel there especially if he gets in the right system where they run the ball often, because he is a devistating run blocker. He is extremely powerful and explosive especially in the lower body with a near 600 lbs squat, a 385lbs power clean, and a 33 and a half inch verticle. He moves his feet very well, he is athletic (6'3" 305 and can dunk a basketball with 2 hands), he's smart, finishes blocks, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. Having a player like Ball in his senior class is going to help him because every scout in the NFL will be there for the UNH pro-day and Tucker will be a part of that which will be to his advantage. At the junior day at UNH he did very well in the 40 for his size and he has worked on his 40 since then and is even faster now. He has worked very hard to get where he is and will continue to work, he deserves a fair shot, and if he gets it I believe he will stick.
