Wofford did the double play in the 2010-2011 academic year, but not this year.

With Davidson in the conference, with their sucktakular football team, "doubles" were difficult. The College of Charleston was never really a factor with only 1 SoCon championship during its entire stay.

Now that the SoCon is almost exclusively an all-sports conference, "doubles" will be more common. Chatty has been good at BB for a long time and has rebuilt it FB team. Wofford has 4 FB championships and 3 BB championships in the last decade. A-Sun BB champ Mercer will be playing competitive football much quicker than many expect.

ASU and GSU basketball were never consistent contenders. FU BB has been in a long slump.

Interestingly, 4 of next years 9 SoCon teams participated in some type of post-season play this year (Wofford, Chatty, ETSU and VMI) - ETSU and VMI aren't really in line to win a FB championship anytime soon, however).
