Since ESPNs thursday night game will suck with N. Carolina playing UVa, I thought i'd give you all a heads up on what else will be on.

#1Byrnes HS(8-0) 51-1 since 2003 at #2Gaffney HS(8-0) 41-10 since 2003 will be on FSN starting at 7:30 est. This is going to be one he!! of a game with the two top teams in SC going against each other. The schools just happen to be located within about 30 miles of each other too, so i'm sure these players know each other pretty well.

Here's a breakdown of head-to-head stat leaders

Here's an article about Byrnes football.

CSTV will be showing West Texas A&M vs. Abilene Christian.

Both teams are undefeated.

West Texas A&M's alumni include Ted DiBiase, Terry Funk, Tully Blanchard, and Tito Santana. Wow.

I will definitely watch the Byrnes/Gaffney game over the North Carolina/Virginia stink-up. North Carolina hasn't beaten Virginia in Charlottesville since 1981. Weird things always happen in this game, but tonight's showdown could set football back 100 years.

Yes, but even stranger is the fact that the Iron Sheik is an Abilene Christian alum.

What was the score?
28-15 Gaffney dominated in the second half by running the ball and keeping Byrnes offense on the bench. Willy Korn did help either with his 3 ints and 2 fumbles. It was a hell of a game.

Hell, I even watched more of the Henderson U. vs Southern Arkansas game that was on Cox Sports Television tonight than the crappy UVA / UNC game.

Plus the SHSU / UCA game wasn't to shabby either.
