Longtime Northeast Conference (NEC) Coordinator of Football Officials Milt Halstead can add yet another honor to his long list of accomplishments.* Halstead was recently selected as the recipient of the 2014 David M. Parry Award, annually presented to the nation’s outstanding Officiating Coordinator. The award exemplifies Dave Parry’s integrity, dedication, character and commitment to football officiating.* Parry was the NCAA’s first national coordinator of officials and headed football officiating at the Big Ten for 19 years.
