Lehigh hosting Iowa Friday night

Hawkeyes come into Stabler Arena for the first time since 1990. Match ups do not bode well for Mountain Hawks. While we have 6 guys ranked in the top 20 of their respective weights, Iowa has 9 and all ranked above Lehigh's. Having dinner with Dan Gable before the match with the Lehigh Wrestling Club!

A wonderful night for wrestling, though not the outcome. Dan Gable spoke at the Club's pre-match dinner. Taking his Valentine's Day to travel from Iowa at 6 a.m. to speak at Lehigh at 5:30 p.m. We presented him with a special plaque memorializing Iowa's last visit to Bethlehem and his post match comments which helped rejuvenate the University's commitment to wrestling. Hawkeyes then took 8/10 bouts. Both teams missing a few regular starters due to illness or injury. Despite almost 20 inches of snow dumped on the area, over 3,000 showed up at Stabler Arena.
