New England was oh so close to landing Randy Moss today, but in the end talks fell apart after Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis refused to give up on the season by trading Moss for a probable 1st round draft pick.

Davis is an idiot. They need draft picks and to get rid of their problem players.

It's hard for me to be a Raiders fan right now -- but I gotta say that the ole' dog ain't what he used to be -- Moss should get a shot somewhere else, we need to rebuild and unload the oldies. I can identify with Al Davis though, Moss is one of our only playmakers.

Yes but with or without Moss an 0-16 season is looking pretty likely. My only question is who do they trake with the #1 overall next year? Brady Quinn or Adrian Peterson?

I'm both a Raiders and Pats fan and i wish this happened. NE would instantly become the favorite in the AFC and Oakland would have 2 No. 1's.

How could you be a Pats fan AND a Raiders fan? What did you do during the tuck game? Did you even watch it?

wasnt knocking him, the guy I listed is a projected top 15 pick, but some teams just dont ever draft what they shoiuld where they are. The funniest choice I coulda put was Cap'n Cat :P

Thing is... Every week you see Brady & Moss on the sidelines in the 4th Quarter acting like they were frat buddies... always side by side... always giggling like they have a secret...
It's a beautiful sight... (for a Patriots fan)
All Moss needed was a guy to throw the ball in his general direction... He's got the rest of it pretty well covered... xbowx

I think Moss is having so much fun and enjoying it in New England, I can see him re-signing under market value which will be great

But he is one of the most popular players in the league among his peers. The guy has always gotten along with everyone on his team.

What I find really cool:
is that Randy is considered the hardest worker among the receivers on the practice field and in the film room...
and then...
On Sunday he goes to work xlolx

Sarcasm.
When Moss was at Minnesota, he was the worst thing in the NFL according to all the idiot's talking.
He left the Viking's and that mess of a team still kept getting into trouble so there went the argument it was all Moss.
They ragged him for imitating pulling down his pant's mooning the crowd but let the GOD FEARING FAN'S of Greenbay off the hook for mooning the opposing team's bus by actually dropping their pant's, showing their bleeched butt's, etc. xlolx
I also love Moss because he makes ole TOM on ESPN GAMEDAY look like he bout to have a stroke.xlolx
Whenever Keyshon start's praising Moss, ole TOM sit's there like a sulking kid, arm's crossed, with his lip's stuck out long as $40 dollars worth of rolled up nickles. xlolx

I am really enjoying Keyshon on Game Day..
He's got a sense of humor and he won't say what they want him to say, he says what he wants to say.... xlolx
Plus I think he really understands todays game and todays players - without kissing the NFL's ass
