According to Charlotte's beat writer, David Scott, we've scheduled a home and home with the Mountaineers in 2018 and 2019. By then we'll be in CUSA and they'll be in the Sun Belt.

This matchup has the potential to be the number one game in the Charlotte market (unless played on a Thursday or Saturday).

Both games will be on a Saturday.

This should probably be moved somewhere since neither team will be FCS at that point.

I enjoy the tweetsie/unc-ceeeeeeeee smack that usually shows up in these threads. Plus it's offseason.

Most of the App State bandwagon fans appear to have moved on. We're really just left with the crowd that was here to begin with.

I didn't go to App, but some of my best HS buddies went there, so I was up there so much I sometimes feel like I attended. But today, about the only reason I make it up to Boone is to eat at the Daniel Boone Inn....some of the best family style eatin' around! Off topic I know, but since the thread is basicially moot to the FCS anyway.....

The "premier" NC schools play basketball. ;)

NC traditionally has 4 well below average BCS schools.

Not likely for some time. It took threats from the State Legislature for East Carolina to get home games from ACC schools. And they have much more political pull than App does.
