Yet another resident for that historic field! Too bad about the "projects"-like buildings that loom over it. :/ They should enclose the field with seating and rebuild the rain/sun canopy to block out those eyesores.

#14 Lehigh dropped at 14-7 game to #7 Loyola. Dug themselves a five goal deficit in the second quarter after an even first. Could be good 'learning' game for the Mountain Hawks as they now can see what more is needed to get to "the next level." Should still stay in the top 20, but bouncing back right will be important.

#18 Lehigh will play #1 Loyola for the Patriot League Championship Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Baltimore. Loyola beat Colgate 12-6 in the first semi-final and Lehigh survived a tremendous back and forth game with Army, scoring with 3 seconds left in regulation to win 12-11. Army led 8-6 at half after trailing 5-3 in the first quarter. Lehigh's All-American goalie Matt Poulion played despite a torn labrum in the hip, and was very 'out of sync' the first half, but was stellar down the stretch. This was also the first time in a full year that Army allowed double digit goals. This will be Lehigh's third straight appearance in the Patriot League Championship game. CBSSportsnet will televise the game live.

#1 Loyola proved to have too much talent and beat #18 Lehigh 16-7 for the PL Championship and the autobid to the NCAA. Lehigh pulled within 7-4 in the third quarter, but fell apart in the second part of the third quarter. Lehigh ends season 13-5..second straight year with 12 or more wins and a very good season considering the number of grads lost the prior year. Next year looks very promising.

It's all relative. We were supposed to be "down" this year, too. All depends on whether the next in line guys can step up. That's what's so cool about college sports, you constantly have to be replacing your stars.
