There is a new man in charge of SFA football, and he is bringing a history of Southland Conference success with him.
Following the disappointment of a 3-9 2013 campaign, Coach J.C. Harper was let go over the break. Enter Clint Conque, the man who spent the past 14 years as the head coach at the University of Central Arkansas. At UCA, Conque amassed 105 wins and guided the program to a .640 winning percentage. Conque led the Bears to SLC title in 2008 and 2012, and made consecutive FCS playoff appearances in 2011 and 2012.
