Is the game played in 1985 or 2014?

I think I figured it out. If the game is played in 1985, the Bears win because none of the Bison players are born yet, so their mothers had to fill in.

If its indeed played in 2014, Bison roll. The 1985 Bears wont look very good playing in their 50's.
