Yes. First win over Demons since bringing back the program. Demons had chance to score in OT, getting to the 3, but got dropped for a loss and three straight incompletions (the last one which was dropped by an open Adam Varnado at the goal line).

SLU's next at Texas State; Demons visit Nicholls State

Great win for the Lions tonight, overcoming an early 14-0, deficit, starting a true freshman QB, two true freshmen WRs, and missing both starting safeties in the secondary who were out with injuries. Ultimate example of a team win!!!

Oh by the way...Bradd Schlosser may make us all forget out Martin Hankins!!! Great job by him tonight!!!

Demons have a 419 yard vs. 265 yard effort against the Lions. 4 Demon turnovers vs. 1 for the Lions. This after last week's effort against Sam Houston where Northwestern had 549-392 advantage, plus a 41 minute vs. 19 minute TOP advantage. Can't say I've ever experienced a season like this one. Turnovers and penalties galore.: smh : :bawling:

As you know, it's not about yardage or TOP which are overrated stats. It's about consistency of drives and finishing with points. You guys take a lot of shots down field and are more likely to rack up yardage, but also more likely to have inconsistency due to style of play. We had more stuffs behind the line and created more dead plays with our defense.
