The ratings probably have more to do with the big games later in the day instead of the location, but there might have been some people tuning in just to see Gameday "off the grid" in Fargo.

To be honest, everything about Gameday experience was top notch that day...I had great fears that this was going to be "Hey, look at the yokels!" with a patronizing pat of the head of the cute little FCS squad that pulled off an upset. But honestly, the ESPN guys treated everyone great, the program presented was representative of NDSU and FCS, and it was just a fantastic experience from start to finish. I came away very impressed and feeling really fortunate to have been in attendance.

The only downside of that Gameday was the "challenger" opponent that the Bison played that day. Hope "next time" an FCS program hosts, that it's a quality FCS match-up.
