Just wondering has anyone seen a list of most victories or best winning percentage against I-AA/FCS cumulative from 1982-2013? (Wasn't 1982 the big influx into I-AA?)

Everything I've seen counts games before I-AA started and against Non-Division I.

Any Suggestions?

OL FU has/had that, but I'm not sure if it's still floating around.

Best winning percentage will most likely be NDSU, while most wins probably Montana or App St? Would be interesting to see a top 10 for each.

NDSU is only 102-32 under Coach Bohl. I'm going to have to go back and look at the exact numbers to get an ONLY FCS win/lose percentage, though.

EDIT: You can remove 7 wins and 3 loses (LOL at that actually HURTING the percentage...) from FBS wins/loses.

Yeah, but considering they weren't in FCS for a majority of the existence of FCS, you'd have to do a reasonable cutoff like teams that have been in since 1982 like URMite said. If not, North Dakota State's .766 would be taking a backseat to Old Dominion's .811.

Oh don't worry, I knew NDSU wouldn't be top anyway. We are like .638 W/L record all time, which is still pretty good.

I get what you're saying, just don't want to see Mercer being held up as the lofty standard of FCS football, haha.

I would like to have that spreadsheet updated, though!

Hall of Fame EKU Coach Roy Kidd has the FCS all-time best coaching record. "To this day, Kidd still has more Division I FCS wins than any other coach in history, with 223. (This win total includes only those wins earned while coaching a I-AA/FCS program.)"

Georgia Southern was playoff eligible from 1984-2012. During that time they went 274-100 (.733) overall, 45-10 (.818) in playoff games, with 15 years of at least 10 wins. They won 6 titles, were runner up twice, and made the semis 5 other times.

Check the NCAA Football Records book online at the NCAA site. They used to carry a section of wins by division.

You are going to make me cry, Blue. I hate seeing all of that tradition getting flushed down the toilet.

I'm about to come into a lot of free time, so I could try to stab at it then. If I remember correctly, OL FU's is more about playoff success (still a good tool).

45-10 in playoff games ..hmmm that's remarkable if true, how many of those 10 losses came against the CAA?
