Murietta is off, but credit the UM defense for pressuring him and the CBs for some coverage sacks.

catbob, do you have a TV video signal or are you listening to it by radio? I've had no video since the beginning of the second quarter.

I have TV... it went out for like a minute but they got it back.

Also I think people are getting the game free via bigskytv.org.

NAU's playing well defensively, but on offense they can't seem to do anything positive.

After a 9 yard loss, 3rd and 18 on their own 15, Murietta quick-kicks it and it was a very nice punt, 55 yard.

True, but I wouldn't count on being #1 with the way ISU played today and the way ASU played today. :smiley_wi

What a shame. NAU could win the rest of their games and still not make the playoffs because they lost by 3 to UM and by 7 to Montana State. Too bad they scheduled those two I-A games or they would probably make the playoffs.

Yeah, but look at Portland State. They scheduled *3* I-A games this year!

Are Division I-AA teams really that desperate for a check?

I think that's the biggest part of it, second is a hope for more recognition, third is scheduling desperation. I wish we had more I-AA teams in the area to schedule, particularly from weaker conferences, but we just don't.

NDSU!!!!!
SDSU!!!!!
UC Davis!!!!!
Cal Poly!!!!!

We few to fricking Iowa, for Christ's sake, why not play UNI instead if Iowa?

I'd MUCH rather see THAT game (or any of the above) on a rotating home/home schedule than watching us get our asses handed to us by Oregon and Iowa, et. al., every year.

How much would UNI pay for that? How much recognition for that? Again, see my list.

OK, fourth, top teams don't want to be knocked down early in the season to another I-AA team.

How about San Diego? Also, you missed SUU.

Holding NAU to around 200 yards total Offense and fumbling deep in our territory. I give the game ball to our D. Offense struggled badly today but beating a good team that had 2 weeks to prepare for you is a good victory.

Problem for you is UM would have to fall twice, and then we'd own the tie breaker....
