That new rule is really stupid when you're watching teams go at it to the end. Either way, we were completely outplayed and YSU won this game rather easily. Did anyone else watch this game on the webcast through WIU's website? I could have walked through those holes to the endzone that YSU was making. Our D-line is awful. Good game Penguins! Looks like it's the Birds traveling to Macomb next week to face a Leatherneck team that ISU is long overdue to win a game against. Big homecoming win today for the Redbirds over SIU, but winning next week over WIU would be just as sweet because of ISU's long drought versus the Leathernecks.

Sounded like a heck of a comeback by the Necks, but YSU prevails in a HUGE Gateway road win that keeps the Penguins right at the top of the GFC.

Patterson is gonna have to realize sooner, rather than later, that he needs to shore up that D. It has been a joke the last couple of years running. the scheme is not working and the personnel is just not there.

It doesn't do any good to score 28-35 pts a game if you give up 35-42. I have not seen the fire in this team for going on 3 yrs now. I don't know but Patterson's time may be up.
