Who is putting up an All-American season from your teams?

We all know about Ball, Santos, Felton, Dawson, DeOssie, Durant, LeZotte, Nkang, Murrell, etc.

Who is having an All-American season from your team who did not get any pub in the preseason or has stepped up their game a good bit from last year.

Liam Coen QB... Leads all I-AA in pass eff.

Steve Baylark RB... Leads the A10 in rushing with 555 yards on 99 carries.

While he did get decent pub. in the preseason, Andrew Jones, MLB for Furman, is the rock of Furman's defense (58 tackles, 6 TFL, 1 sack). He won't be a first teamer, but high might sneak on to the third team. At 5'11", 232, he's a little wrecking ball:).

Some guys on Furman's offense are having good years, but not all-american type years. Maybe an offensive lineman will sneak on to one of the teams, but that would be the only person (besides Felton) on offense that would have a chance for Furman.

In your opinion, has Perry outplayed Codera Jackson this year? Or are teams going Perry's way, because they are avoiding Jackson's side of the field?

I'd add Kerry Brown at guard and Corey Lynch at safety to your list. Freshman Gary Tharrington, Murrell's running mate at the other DE position looks like a future All-American, but probably not this year. Wiggins has vaulted himself to probably the No. 1 position among I-AA safeties now. Five interceptions, two fumble recoveries, along with his normal hits and run support.

Gotta give Collin Drafts a serious look. He has reset every Big South Conference passing record in his time at CSU.

Colin Drafts is pretty awesome but you may find out that he, like many of the Big South players, may be criticized for the level of competition. But still a stud.

Coming along very nicely is Kyle Shotwell's younger brother, RS freshman Ryan.
Ryan Shotwell:
31 TT, 7 TFL, 5.0 sacks, 10 QBH, 1 FF and 1 FR.

I don't know about All-American, but James Ihedigbo. Did not even make one of the three A10 preseason teams.

I think both are playing very well this year actually. But to have 3 touchdowns in 3 straight games isn't just luck. Another person that would have to be thrown into the mix is Marcus Mason

Yeah I was thinking he would fall on the list as well.

I am surprised nobody from McNeese has answered with Brent Pousson. He is 6'5, 300 and has not allowed a sack according to the game I watched yesterday when the announcers talked about him. He looked pretty good.

I agree with Mr. C on Kerry Brown. I have read in a few places where he might be a top NFL prospect next year. If he has any speed and it athletic at all he will go high if he is a two-time All-American with his size.

I don't think Lynch should be higher than 3rd team though.
