Whenever ESPN televises an FCS or D2 game they talk about FBS transfers ad nauseum, as if they must validate the quality of football to the viewers by constantly mentioning that some of these guys once played for FBS teams.

Whenever ESPN televises a High School game they talk about where players are going rather than the actual game. A few years ago ESPN televised the 100th Easton-P-burg game. The game was televised for the historic rivalry, not the quality of play, but the announcers kept mentioning the one guy from Easton who had FBS offers. Just enjoy the game for what it is.
