Brown senior running back John Spooney (Northfield, OH), a unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection, has been named one of two finalists for the Asa S. Bushnell Cup, the Ivy League Football Offensive Player of the Year award. The 2013 presentation of the Asa S. Bushnell Cup is Monday, December 9, the day before the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Annual Awards Dinner, at a special reception and press conference beginning at Noon in the Vanderbilt Room of the famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be streamed live and free of charge on The Ivy LeagueŽ Digital Network.
