Brown: Thirteen Brown Gridders Named To All-Ivy Football Team

After Brown posted its sixth straight winning season, 13 members of the Bears’ football team were chosen All-Ivy by a vote of the eight Ancient Eight head football coaches. Earning First Team All-Ivy honors are senior tailback John Spooney (Northfield, OH), a unanimous selection, senior offensive tackle Cole Hooper (Oklahoma City, OK), senior defensive end Michael Yules (South Dartmouth, MA), senior linebacker Adewole Oyalowo (Bowie, MD), senior corner back Emory Polley (University Heights, OH), senior kicker Alexander Norocea (Hermosa Beach, CA), and freshman return specialist Alexander Jette (North Attleboro, MA). Earning Second Team All-Ivy honors for the Bears are senior offensive linemen Daniel Austin (Franklin, TN) and Clayton Paino (Tarpon Springs, FL), senior wide receiver Tellef Lundevall (Highland Park, IL), senior tight end Andrew Marks (Berlin, WI), and senior defensive end John Bumpus (Concord, MA). Earning honorable mention All-Ivy honors is junior linebacker Daniel Giovacchini (Acton, MA).
